I kept Lilly Grace home with me yesterday so that we could spend some time together. I forgot how easy it was to have just one! I told her the plan for the day ahead of time (I would want to know), but I probably shouldn't have. She was concerned about it all day. On the way home from Janet's she said, "Nana's house is that way." When we pulled into the driveway at home she started to cry and said, "I wanna go to Chuck E Cheese!" (part of the plan for the day). I couldn't get her to understand that we were going to the pool first, then Chuck E Cheese, and then Nana's. On the way to CEC, she immediately noticed that we had not turned off to go to Nana's...kinda creepy that she pays that much attention to where we are and how I drive. By the way, she has also gotten into the habit of reminding Mike to buckle in when she sees that he hasn't. (hehe).
Anyway, we had a good day at the pool. She had a blast at CEC; although Mike said there were more trashy people there per square foot than any Wal Mart he had ever seen. There was actually one little kid who would jump on rides with kids who had put their tokens in and then was trying to take people's tickets from the machines before they could get to them. This boy attempted this with my daughter's tickets...OH NO YOU DON'T! It bewildered me that four adults watched this happen and stood dumbfounded (my relatives included) and did not say anything. I guess the teacher came out in me because I swiftly stopped the boy and gave him a talking to...he immediately handed over the tickets. (hehe). What is sad is that his parents probably taught him how to steal and mooch from others to get ahead...I cannot believe it begins so early.
On a side note...I included a picture of us a CEC - notice LG is not looking at the camera...that's because she was way to busy dancing and playing. The next two pictures are from the other night...Lilly Grace insisted on playing in Pressley's crib (and using her pacifier and her Baby Einstein playmat) that day. The other one of Pressley was just way too cute not to post...I know, I am one of those people...

My kids are freaks when it comes to recognizing where and how I'm driving. Come to think if it my kids are just freaks...
Maybe they won't need us to teach them to drive when they're 16...
